When you’re lost, wandering isn’t movement. It’s risk.
Doing something is not always better than doing the right thing.
Silvanforge helps you figure out your next move and take it with intention, instead of guessing and hoping it works out.

About Tony Renner
I used to be the guy with all the answers.
For most of my life, people came to me when they were stuck. I was good at it, not because I was patient or wise, but because I could see where a conversation was going before someone finished the sentence. I handed them the answer. They thought I was perceptive, but I was just impatient.
It took years of facilitating real conversations, spaces where people needed to find their own way and not mine, before I understood what I had been getting wrong. The answer was never the point. The space was the point.
That shift was reinforced across 26 years of military service, in roles that put me in the middle of some of the hardest conversations people have. Suicide prevention. Transition support. Leading people through deployments, identity shifts, and the disorientation that comes when the structure you were used to suddenly disappears.
I didn’t just transition out of the military. Though on outside I looked like I had it all together, I unraveled. Then, slowly, I rebuilt. Not back to what I was, but into something more honest.
I walked straight from 26 years of service into a civilian management role. Over the next two years I discovered I did not know who I was outside of an institution. The mission, the structure, the identity had all been handed to me for so long that I had never had to forge it myself. I still stayed in that job for another year and a half before I was able to admit to myself that I needed to do something else.
I’ve personally known people who didn’t survive that transition. That’s not a statistic to me. That’s personal.
Silvanforge exists because I found my way through without that space. When I looked back and saw what was missing, I decided to become it for others.
Not answers. Not a program. Just a steady, grounded space where a capable person can slow down, think clearly, and figure out what comes next on their own terms.
The certification made it official. The forge has been burning a long time.
What working with me looks like
People come in with a specific outcome in mind. That’s the right place to start. What often happens is that the work reveals something underneath the original goal. A pattern running quietly, a decision that keeps getting deferred, a version of themselves their current situation no longer fits. That’s usually where the real progress happens.
I use active listening, open-ended questions, and direct reflection. I’m not steering you toward a predetermined answer. I’m paying attention to what you say, how you say it, and what you don’t say. When your face changes talking about something, I notice. When a topic gets avoided, I notice that too. I will name what I observe and ask you about it.
We set real goals and track movement toward them. When the goal shifts because the work revealed something more important, we adjust. The process is structured but not rigid.
This isn’t therapy. It’s not motivation. It’s a structured conversation with someone paying close attention and asking the questions nobody else is asking.
The work is yours to do. I just make sure the space is clear enough for you to see it honestly.
What People Say After Doing the Work
People usually come in uncertain. They leave clearer about their next move and more confident acting on it.
“When working through the hardest points in life, it’s easier when you’re not taking them on alone. An outside perspective helps bring the hard areas to the forefront and address them in a positive way.”
Jerry B. - Military Retired Veteran and IT Professional
“Connecting with someone who truly listened and worked with what I was struggling with showed me that apathy isn’t permanent. The flexibility and willingness to dive deep had real advantages over other coaching I’ve done.”
Toby R. - Veteran and Budding Entrepreneur
“My confidence has grown. I’m capable of making plans and sticking to them. Instead of being told I was wrong, I was guided to figure out the answers myself, a process that gave me tools I’ll keep using.”
Brayden R. - Dedicated Tradesman
“I gained more clarity and confidence in my journey and stopped seeking validation outside myself. When you mirrored me, the smile I get while talking about poetry, it changed how I saw myself, helped me accept my creativity, and gave me the confidence to do what I love more often.”
